Is there a cost to attend this school?
No. Greenwood Charter Academy is a tuition-free public charter school open to all students in South Carolina. GCA will never charge tuition.
Are students required to live in Greenwood County to attend?
No. All age-appropriate residents of South Carolina may attend Greenwood Charter Academy, no matter where they live in the state.
Where can we learn more about the Curricula that will be used?
Greenwood Charter Academy will use Core Knowledge, Eureka Math, and Core Virtues as our curriculum providers. Core Knowledge includes a health component.

Will the students wear uniforms?
Yes. Our students will have a school uniform that will be available for purchase at the school. Our uniforms are cost effective and durable. Our students can leave behind the worry and stress of what they are wearing each day and simply focus and enjoy learning and playing with their friends!
When will GCA open and what GRADES will be available?
We are set to open in 2023, with 5 year old Kindergarten through the 6th grade. GCA will add a grade each year until we are a K-8th grade campus. We can't do it without you.
How do I enroll my student(s)?

Will the school provide transportation?
YES! Our school will provide bus options serving communities with group stops. The bus service will be at no charge.
Does the school have a mascot and school colors?
Yes. We are the Patriots and our colors are red, white, and blue.

Where is the school located?
Our school will be located on the Greenwood Mall property. We are adding 16,000 square feet and will have over 70,000 square feet of the most modern, state of the art school in Greenwood opening to all students grades K-6 in July of 2023. The school will not be accessible from the mall and will be a safe, secure, learning haven where the next generation of American citizens will be developed surrounded by support, safety, and love.
