Dear Patriots, 

What an exciting time of year this is for our students. As we enter the month of May, our students will have the opportunity to showcase all they have learned this year at CCA. I’d like to commend our staff, and specifically our teachers, for their hard work and dedication throughout this year. With that said, we also understand that testing can be stressful. We encourage students to get a good night's rest, stay on their normal routine, and be sure to arrive at school on time during this testing season. We are confident that our students will perform well and trust that they will give their best effort. 

I would like to remind everyone that we will be celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week during May. Please look for more information to be shared related to this, as our PTO has plans to celebrate our fantastic staff here at Cherokee Charter Academy. These folks deserve to be “appreciated” year-round, but especially during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Finally, I’d like to offer a special “Thank You” of my own to the entire Cherokee Charter community. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past ten months as your Director, and I look forward to continuing in this role for the 2025-26 school year. We have a wonderful staff that I enjoy leading, a very supportive and caring group of parents who have partnered with us throughout this year, a forward-thinking Board of Directors who believe in our charter and mission, and a super special group of students that I have sincerely grown to love. It is an honor to serve as your School Director, and I truly believe that CCA is the best option for students in Cherokee County.
