We are excited to celebrate with our entire school community as we have recently been recognized by Education Insider Magazine as a “Top Public Charter School.” This distinction reflects the collective efforts of our students, staff, and families who make our CCA such a special place to learn and grow. Being named a Top Charter School highlights our commitment to academic excellence, strong school culture, and meaningful student experiences. It is a testament to the high expectations we set, the supportive environment we cultivate, and the shared dedication to continuous improvement that defines Cherokee Charter Academy.

Spring MAP testing is underway, providing us with valuable insight into each student’s academic growth and progress. These assessments help guide our instruction and ensure we are meeting the needs of every learner. We encourage all students to do their best and show what they have learned so far this year. Families can support by ensuring students are well-rested, on time, and ready to give their full effort each day. As we look ahead, our staff is also preparing students for upcoming SC Ready testing. Teachers are reviewing key standards, reinforcing skills, and building student confidence. We are committed to creating a supportive and encouraging environment so that every student feels prepared and capable. We know that consistent effort, combined with the strong foundation built throughout the year, will lead to continued success.

We also want to emphasize the importance of our parent surveys, which play a critical role in helping us grow and improve as a school community. Your feedback provides valuable insight into what we are doing well and where we can continue to strengthen our programs and communication. We encourage all families to take a few moments to complete the survey and share their perspectives, as your voice truly matters in shaping the future of our schools. At the same time, we are actively enrolling new students and offering school tours for the 2026–27 school year. It is exciting to welcome new families into our school community and share the unique opportunities our academies provide. We are incredibly proud of our teachers and staff for their dedication, passion, and hard work throughout this school year. Their commitment to excellence makes a lasting impact on our students, and we are grateful for all they do each and every day.
