Dear GCA Families,
Welcome Back from Fall Break
Welcome back, GCA families! I hope everyone enjoyed a restful and fun Fall Break with
family and friends. It was great to see our students return this week full of energy and
ready to learn. The first part of our school year has been full of progress and growth, and
I’m confident that the remainder of the semester will be just as productive. Thank you for
continuing to support our teachers and staff as we work together to make Greenwood
Charter Academy a place where students thrive every day.
Enrollment and School Tours
Greenwood Charter Academy continues to grow! We’ve welcomed several new students
recently and are excited to see our school community expanding. We regularly provide
tours for prospective families, and our team is always eager to share what makes GCA
such a special place. Our mission is to develop the next generation of American citizens,
and we would love for anyone interested in joining our school family to contact us and
schedule a visit.
Campus Improvements
If you’ve been on campus recently, you’ve likely noticed some of the improvements that
have been made. The beautification of the area between our main building and middle
school building continues to take shape, and our playgrounds have been refreshed with
new mulch and barriers. These updates help create a more inviting and safe environment
for our students. We’re proud of the progress so far and have additional campus
enhancements planned in the near future.
Traffic Flow and Safety
You may also have noticed new traffic markings around campus. These updates were
added to help improve traffic flow and ensure safety during morning drop-off and
afternoon dismissal. We ask that all families please pay close attention to these markings
and follow the established patterns to help protect our students and staff. Your patience
and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we continue to refine this process for
everyone’s benefit.
Sincerely,
Brad Teague - Interim School Director
